What license do OIX NFTs operate under? What are the rights of creators and collectors?
Your NFT and its content is encoded as a hash that is registered on the blockchain.
Although this proves the authenticity and uniqueness of the file, and the blockchain proves ownership of an NFT, it doesn't indicate anything about the legal rights of the collector (buyer) of the NFT.
It is up to you, the creator, to tell collectors what they can or cannot do with the NFTs they are purchasing and what you retain as rights.
This is not legal advice, but generally speaking, you must create a license as the seller. This is why, especially for high-value transactions, you typically want to get a copyright attorney who understands NFTs involved.
You can use the description section to describe the limitations of the collector's rights, or provide a link to the NFT's particular license.
